US-based discounted furniture retailer FFO Home has acquired Kentucky’s home furnishings and bedding retailer Service Furniture and Bedding for an undisclosed price.
According to the deal, FFO Home will acquire 13 stores operating under the Furniture Liquidators banner, and 15 Mattress and More Bedding stores.

The acquisition is reported to be in line with FFO Home’s organic growth strategy and the first since 2016.

“Both of these brands have enjoyed strong leadership positions for many years. Furniture Liquidators provides us strong critical mass in one of our key expansion markets and fits us strategically as a leading value-oriented retailer.

With its headquarters in Fort Smith, Arkansas, FFO Home operates 47 retail stores located in seven states including Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi and Kansas.
In addition to home furniture retailing, FFO Home also manufactures bedding under the Comfort Coil and Natural Elements brands.
