Borderlinx links with Shopify to enable global expansion for retailers

UK-based international shipping solution provider for online retailers Borderlinx has unveiled its ready-made connector for Advanced Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce software solutions.

With the new module, retailers using Canadian e-commerce company Shopify’s platform can integrate with Borderlinx’s cross-border e-commerce solution Go.Borderlinx.

Taking ever-changing consumer expectations into consideration, Borderlinx has worked with e-commerce platforms to develop solutions for their online retailers, who are looking to expand to global markets.

“The platform documentation and backend provide a seamless integration that enables our customers, the retailer, to expand to emerging global markets with ease.”

Borderlinx CGO Sebastien Dubuisson said: “Technology is rapidly changing today’s e-commerce landscape. Over the past ten years, we’ve seen brands develop into global sensations.

“Unfortunately, customs regulations, warehouse models, and carrier integrations remain behind the curve. With Borderlinx, retailers can simplify their ecosystem and focus on their business needs, not international regulatory changes.”

Retailers on Advanced Shopify and Shopify Plus can use the new module to integrate with Go.Borderlinx.

The integration is said to offer a scalable international e-commerce solution.

Borderlinx chief technical officer Yves Languepin said: “The platform documentation and backend provide a seamless integration that enables our customers, the retailer, to expand to emerging global markets with ease.”

Shopify Plus allows merchants to design, establish and manage their stores across several sales channels such as web, mobile, social media, brick-and-mortar locations and pop-up shops.
