Brazil's Lojas Renner implements Oracle Retail to streamline operations


Brazilian fashion retailer Lojas Renner has selected Oracle Retail to streamline its operations and enhance growth.

Through the deployment of the solution, the company intends to simplify processes across more than 470 stores and increase its customer base.

Lojas Renner chief information officer Emerson Silveira Kuze said: “We chose to modernise and simplify with Oracle Retail to reduce operating and support costs to prepare for omnichannel in Brazil.

“This shift in vision allowed Renner to move forward in adopting worldwide standards of efficiency and productivity in its management while reducing implementation costs and future system upgrades.”

Before implementing the solution, the retailer carried out four phases of testing after mapping the functional and technical specifications.

Lojas Renner operates under the Renner, Youcom and Camicado brands.

Oracle Retail senior vice-president and general manager Ray Carlin said: “By partnering with multiple Brazilian retailers like Renner, we could truly understand the requirements and incorporate market requirements into our solutions and weave this local experience into our Retail Reference Library.”

The company's retail solutions include business applications, cloud services and hardware, which are integrated to improve commerce.
