Checkpoint unveils new Evolve-Store solution for retailers
US-based Checkpoint Systems has unveiled its new Evolve-Store solution to increase retail store conversion rates.
The solution consists of components such as Evolve-Store Network, Evolve-Store App and Evolve-Store Analytics.
By combining different sensing devices into a single network, Evolve-Store Network enables retailers to capture the event data.
The Evolve-Store App provides real-time visibility of the store sensing devices’ activities and helps store staff to manage them on the shop floor.
The retailers’ chain-wide visibility of the sensing devices’ data, including all staff interactions, will be delivered though the Evolve-Store Analytics software-as-a-service platform.
Checkpoint Systems inventory control solutions vice-president Carl Rysdon said: “While fighting competition from the online stores, store managers must strike a balance between adequately staffing the sales floor and completing back-office tasks.
“Evolve-Store brings together people, processes and products to expand the potential of physical stores by combining various sensing devices into a single, actionable data-led solution, with enterprise wide data analytics.”
Key staff can use the app to control their Evolve EAS systems in the event of any technical issues in order to avoid major disruption to the store environment.
Checkpoint has also unveiled the new 2928 S ‘Swat’ Micro Tag with organised retail crime (ORC) leave-behind protection.
Designed for high-theft drugstore, electronics, grocery and other retail categories, the tag optimises protection for merchandise and reduces shrink without obscuring product information.
