Jewellery retailer Helzberg Diamonds has deployed the NCR Connected Payments security solution across its network of stores.
Helzberg intends to utilise the cloud-based solution by omnichannel solutions provider NCR to ensure the security of its payments, as well as manage its bank card payment operations.
NCR Connected Payments is expected to diminish payment card theft and fraud risks for the customers. It offers data and transmission protection from PIN pad to payment processor, resulting in reduced payment data theft and fraud risk.
The flexible cloud solution enables easy compliance with changes in payment regulations and their implementation across all locations from a single centre.
Helzberg Diamonds chief information officer Jeff Rohr said: “We were looking for an electronic payment solution that allowed us to insulate sensitive card data from our enterprise systems, and provided a level of flexibility to implement changes quickly and easily.
