M&As this week: AURELIUS Equity Opportunities, Liberty Interactive Corporation, Softlogic Retail
German private equity firm AURELIUS Equity Opportunities has reached an agreement to acquire Denmark-based company Silvan Kaeden.
Owned by Danish Stark Group, the target company is a DIY retail chain operator and building material supplier.
The acquisition will be completed in Q3 2017.
Liberty Interactive Corporation has reached an agreement to purchase the remaining 62% stake in HSNi, which will make the latter a wholly owned subsidiary.
HSNi comprises two companies, namely multichannel retailer HSN and home and apparel lifestyle brands owner Cornerstone.
The acquisition will be completed through an all-stock transaction.
Softlogic Holdings subsidiary Softlogic Retail is set to buy Suzuki Motors Lanka, a distributor of Suzuki motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles.
The acquisition agreement includes a consideration of LKR250m ($1.61m).
Both the companies involved in the acquisition are based in Sri Lanka.
