Food retailer O’Key has opened its 74th hypermarket in St Petersburg, Russia.

Marking the 162th store in the group's portfolio, the hypermarket is located in the River House business centre and spread across 2,700m².

O’Key Group chairman of the board and CEO Heigo Kera said: "We are pleased to invite our St Petersburg customers to the new hypermarket featuring our new concept of the ‘compact urban hypermarket’, where we offer a big choice of fresh produce, including farm products, and an extended range of our own production items.

The new store also includes six self-checkout counters, a self-service green salad bar and a ‘Farmer's Corner’ with fresh dairy products coming every morning from the Leningrad Region farms.
