Ross Stores has opened a total of 28 new stores in the US during the past two months, in line with its plan to open 70 Ross Dress for Less and 20 dd's DISCOUNTS stores this year.
The latest openings include 21 Ross Dress and seven dd's DISCOUNTS stores covering 15 states.

Ross Dress is an off-price clothes and home fashion chain, while dd's features apparel, accessories, footwear and home fashions.
Ross Stores president and chief development officer Jim Fassio said: "With this opening group, we continued to expand Ross and dd's in both new and existing markets.
“Ross grew in its newest market, the Midwest, as well as existing markets, including California, Texas, and Florida.”

The retailer is planning to expand Ross stores to 2,000 locations, with dd's increasing to a chain of 500 stores.
In February and March this year, the company opened 21 Ross and seven dd's stores in 15 states.
Revenues of Ross Stores for last year stood at $12.9bn.
Currently, the company operates 1,384 Ross Dress stores and 205 dd's locations.
