American software company Veras Retail has entered a strategic alliance with Montreal-based consulting firm Advantage2Retail (A2R) to promote retail solutions across North America.

This partnership will enable A2R to promote and implement Veras Retail solutions to North American retailers who are considering investing in an enterprise point-of-sale (POS) solution.

It will also benefit those retailers that are looking to enhance the omnichannel customer experience in-store.

A2R founder and CEO Bruno Riccio said: “We have been working with the JDA Store Systems for over a decade.

“When we learned that Veras Retail had acquired the intellectual property rights to the software and began to develop it to accommodate the omnichannel customer, we knew it was a solution we wanted to be able to provide to our existing and future clients.”
