Media and technology company Comcast has opened a new Xfinity store at the Evergreen Crossing Shopping Centre in Spokane Valley, Washington, US.

The new retail centres are intended to offer a better customer experience. Guests can explore, learn and interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services.

Xfinity retail store is offering a full line of Xfinity Home and Comcast Business technology products such as Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Home and Xfinity Internet.

Besides providing Comcast’s products and services, the store will also serve as a second retail location for local residents to get customer support and perform other activities, such as bill payment and more.

It will also feature dedicated space for Comcast Business customers and prospects.

The Spokane Valley store is part of the company’s more than $4m brick and mortar retail investment in Washington.

With this addition, the company will operate a total of 25 Xfinity stores in Washington by the end of this year.

According to the company, new Xfinity Mobile customers will gain access to 5G service on signing up.

In addition to the opening, the company is remodelling its existing retail location in Spokane.

The retailer will keep the store closed starting 7 July through late summer due to the transformation.

In the last six years, Comcast has made nearly $2bn investment in its network technology and infrastructure state-wide.
