US-based luxury department store Saks Fifth Avenue (Saks) has further expanded its footprint in the Canadian retail market by opening a new store at the CF Chinook Centre in Calgary.
The 15,000ft² two-level retail store will feature a collection of luxury handbags, shoes and accessories for both men and women.

The first floor will feature handbags, its famed 10022-Shoe salon and accessories from premier brands such as Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Manolo Blahnik, Valentino, Balenciaga, and Givenchy.
The first floor also includes beauty, apothecary, fragrance and all men’s categories.
The second floor will include women’s ready-to-wear and denim collections, as well as a dedicated Fur Salon.
Saks president Marc Metrick said: “Our strategy for all stores in North America is to create one-of-a-kind experiences for our clients, this is what we call ‘The New Luxury’.
