Peet’s Coffee & Tea, a US-based specialist coffee and tea company, has come up with an 18-month plan to expand its retail network across the Midwest and East Coast with more than 90 store openings.
Initially, the chain will unveil about ten stores across Cleveland, Ohio by the end of August 2013, with the first store to be opened at Solon.
The remaining nine stores will be located in Cleveland, North Olmsted, Avon, Beachwood, Akron, Youngstown, Lakewood, Middleburg Heights and Hudson.
Another eight stores are planned in Columbus, Ohio through early September.
The tea retailer plans to launch the remaining outlets across the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan during fall of 2013.
Peet’s Coffee & Tea president and CEO David Burwick stated that the expansion demonstrates the commitment of the company to expand its footprint across the country.

Beginning next year and over the next 18 months, Peet’s would roll out new stores in the Midwest and East Coast, the company added.
Peet’s Coffee & Tea, meanwhile, is keen to expand its in-store offerings adding fresh, baked goods that complement its coffee and tea items through partnerships with local businesses such as Mediterra Bakehouse.
