The remaining nine stores will be located in Cleveland, North Olmsted, Avon, Beachwood, Akron, Youngstown, Lakewood, Middleburg Heights and Hudson.

Another eight stores are planned in Columbus, Ohio through early September.

"Being a part of the community is vital to who we are at Peet’s, and we’re looking forward to working with other local businesses in Cleveland and supporting the overall community," Burswick noted.

Beginning next year and over the next 18 months, Peet’s would roll out new stores in the Midwest and East Coast, the company added.

Peet’s Coffee & Tea, meanwhile, is keen to expand its in-store offerings adding fresh, baked goods that complement its coffee and tea items through partnerships with local businesses such as Mediterra Bakehouse.
