Canada-based Visual 2000 International has signed a technology and marketing alliance with Datec Retail Systems, to jointly market and deliver the fully integrated, modular retail solutions across the globe.

Visual 2000, as per the agreement, will distribute Visual 2000 End-2-End and Datec Point-of-Sale (POS) retail solutions in the North American fashion market.

The store is specialized in apparel, footwear and accessories -specific enterprise management.

Datec, besides marketing the integrated solutions, will also offer system implementations and offer customer support services for the full range of Visual 2000 software solutions in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and the Netherlands.

Visual 2000 Research and Development vice president Charles Benoualid said the alliance with Datec will bring the combined power of these two solutions to the global fashion industry.

"By working closely together, our companies will deliver a much higher level of value chain integration than was previously available," Benoualid said.

"From a commercial perspective, this helps both companies expand geographic distribution and strengthen customer support capabilities. All of this drives increased value for our clients."

Visual 2000 End-2-End enterprise software is designed specifically to accelerate and manage the design-to-delivery lifecycle of fashion and soft goods products.

The software enables retailers, brands, and manufacturers to gain visibility and control across the entire concept-to-consumer fashion lifecycle.

Brand manufacturers and vertical retailers will be able to enhance efficiencies and remove costs from their merchandising, design, product development, sourcing, production, distribution, and sales processes.

Datec POS systems provide retailers with the latest in touch-screen terminals, multimedia functionality, internet and email integration, and data collection through a secure, online POS transaction connection.

Both the systems utilize the latest Microsoft programming, database, and internet technologies.
