eBay to offer more brands through new partnership with Spring

eBay has partnered with online fashion retailer Spring to increase its online offering and strengthen its product base.

The partnership is expected to enable eBay shoppers to select from hundreds of brands under different categories such as clothing, shoes, accessories, jewellery and beauty.

Labels to be listed on the Spring storefront include David Yurman, Rag & Bone, Mango and Chloe.

"With Spring, we can bring even more coveted merchandise to our buyers, making it easier than ever to discover their own version of perfect."

The storefront will allow eBay shoppers to find, browse and purchase all the brands they need from a single dedicated platform.

Spring founder and CEO Alan Tisch said: "Spring's mission is to bring top brands to consumers at a variety of tastes, style and prices.

"Our new partnership with eBay helps further this mission and expand our reach. Both Spring and eBay are committed to offering unparalleled selection across the best brands, including the newest, hottest styles, sold-out or hard-to-find merchandise, and great deals for every price and style.”

The combination is expected to leverage Spring's access to brands, and eBay's global platform and technological innovations.

eBay merchandising vice-president Jill Ramsey said: "We recently debuted a new brand campaign, 'Fill Your Cart With Color', signalling a deep commitment to delivering a more visual and personalised site experience.

“Now, with Spring, we can bring even more coveted merchandise to our buyers, making it easier than ever to discover their own version of perfect."

eBay connects brands with shoppers by allowing sellers to list their products on its platform.
