TVPage and SLI Systems collaborate to improve online sales for retailers
Cloud-based video technologies provider TVPage has partnered with e-commerce search-based technologies provider SLI Systems to introduce solutions that will provide improved video search results on retail websites.
Through an integrated search solution, online shoppers can find relevant videos.
TVPage CEO Allon Caidar said: “Our partnership with SLI Systems enables online shoppers to find relevant video search results on e-commerce sites.
“Merchants are now able to offer consumers the ability to access and watch video results from search functions within their own online store, instead of forcing consumers to head off their commerce site to YouTube.”
TVPage’s video commerce cloud platform allows merchants to create, publish and monetise shoppable video experiences aimed at engaging customers.
The company claims that merchants using its solution can enhance conversion rates by 30%.
It is also said that retailers can register 40% growth in average order values from video visits, in comparison to visitors who do not watch a video.
SLI Systems co-founder and corporate development vice-president Shaun Ryan said: “Video data is an important part of the consumer experience that benefits from exposure via search.
“The TVPage partnership is an opportunity for SLI to combine two highly effective technologies for a solution that enhances the customer experience, increases engagement and ultimately increases sales.”
By featuring video search results within an online store, merchants are expected to achieve improved customer engagement and retention rates.
The solution also intends to develop an alternate revenue channel for retailers, who can promote product offers to consumers while they watch videos.
SLI Systems aims to help retailers improve e-commerce traffic and convert shoppers into buyers by enhancing site search, navigation, mobile, merchandising, personalisation, recommendations and SEO on their websites.
