Global omnichannel retailer JD Sports Fashion has opened its first store in Canada on Vancouver’s Robson Street.

The launch expands JD’s growth strategy in North America, where it currently operates 341 stores with the opening of its third US flagship in Las Vegas in mid-June 2025.

The store joins other JD locations worldwide, including London’s Oxford Street, Paris’s Champs-Élysées and New York’s Times Square.

The store’s design features several innovative elements to engage and inspire customers. These include a double-height shopfront with the largest LED display in JD’s Canadian network, a digital entrance, a click-and-collect station and a dumbwaiter system for efficient stock handling.

The store also has an advanced Stingray sound system and shop-in-shops for top brands such as Nike, New Balance and Adidas, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

The Robson Street flagship will provide shoppers with premium products and exclusive brand collaborations. The concept of “global access” at this location ensures that customers can enjoy unique and limited-edition items not found elsewhere in Canada.
