
El Salvador’s hardware retailer Vidrí has embarked on a digital transformation of its supply chain operations by adopting Blue Yonder’s replenishment capabilities, with support from Softtek, a global IT services provider.
Vidrí has chosen Blue Yonder and Softtek to optimise its operations to improve its inventory management and product availability.
The adoption of Blue Yonder’s tech aims to enhance demand forecasting, streamline inventory processes and bolster operational resilience.
Vidrí replenishment manager Carlos Viche state: “This upgrade marks a key milestone in Vidrí’s digital transformation journey.
“Blue Yonder’s replenishment capabilities and cloud-based solution will enable us to quickly respond to demand fluctuations, resulting in higher customer satisfaction, significant cost savings and a more resilient and efficient supply chain.”
Established in 1917, Vidrí operates a network of 19 self-service home centres and industrial counter-service stores.

The store carries electrical supplies, plumbing, tools, building materials and home improvement goods.
