PayMore noted that it has opened 19 new locations across the US, Canada, and Europe in the second quarter of 2025.
The company also revealed that it plans to have at least 150 total stores by end of this year. The new outlet is slated to open on 22 September.
The company said that its store count surged by 500% over the past two years.
PayMore co-founder and CEO Stephen Preuss Sr said: “Reaching 100 locations is a significant milestone, especially when most retail brands never grow beyond a handful of stores. In fact, we have over 500 stores in development which is less than 1% of global franchises.
“We’re incredibly proud of our team, and so thankful for our loyal customers. This achievement reflects the strength of our business model and franchisees, and the value we bring to every neighbourhood we enter. We’re just getting started and we’re excited to keep making tech-forward, customer focused moves around the world.”
The company noted that consumer expectations are increasingly influenced by factors such as “value, sustainability and safety”.
In this context, PayMore cited a study by US investment bank Morgan Stanley, which indicated that consumer spending will drop to 3.7% in 2025, from 5.7% last year.
This decline is anticipated to be more pronounced among lower-income and middle-income consumers, who are likely to be more affected by tariffs and economic uncertainty.
The company also cited data security and environmental impact as areas of focus.
It further said that all devices received are either cleared of personal data or “responsibly” destroyed.

“We’ve grown together from PayMore’s early days with just a dozen locations, and we’ve opened two others here in Charlotte.”
