Walmart and its subsidiary Sam’s Club have reduced prices on thousands of products, including beef, grilling supplies and household essentials, in a summer savings drive across US stores.
The reductions cover groceries, household essentials, outdoor living, toys and apparel, according to the retailer.

Sam’s Club has cut prices on more than 250 items, including road trip snacks, grilling supplies and entertainment products, in addition to what it termed competitive fuel pricing.
The discounts apply in stores and clubs, on Walmart.com and SamsClub.com, and through the Walmart and Sam’s Club apps, with pickup and delivery options available in many locations.
Walmart US executive vice-president and chief merchandising officer Julie Barber said: “This summer, we are making even more investments in price, with thousands of rollbacks across the products customers are shopping for most, including beef, fresh produce and beverages, grills, pools, toys and summer fashion apparel.
“Whether they are stocking up for a backyard barbecue, heading out on vacation or simply shopping for the week ahead, we are helping everyone save more for every occasion.”
The price cuts follow Walmart’s launch of Walmart.com for shoppers in Mexico last month, providing access to hundreds of thousands of eligible products via international shipping.
The rollout allows customers to purchase items across categories, including clothing, home goods and electronics, directly through Walmart.com.
In the same month, the company extended its membership programme beyond the US for the first time, launching Walmart+ in Canada.
The service had previously operated exclusively in the US since its domestic launch.
The Canadian membership is priced at C$8.97 ($6.46) monthly or C$89 annually — matching the annual rate of the Delivery Pass scheme it replaces, which Walmart had run in Canada since 2023.
