The value marked a decrease of 84.6% over the previous month of $1.78bn and a drop of 73.6% when compared with the last 12-month average of $1.04bn.

Asia-Pacific held a 13.60% share of the global consumer industry venture financing deal value that totalled $2.02bn in February 2022. With a 4.95% share and deals worth $100m, Singapore was the top country in Asia-Pacific’s venture financing deal value across consumer industry.

In terms of venture financing deal activity, Asia-Pacific recorded 49 deals during February 2022, marking a decrease of 40.24% over the previous month and a drop of 30.99% over the 12-month average. China recorded 12 deals during the month.
