UK electricals retailer Currys has initiated a significant shift towards the UK’s small business technology segment by rebranding and expanding its B2B division, Currys Business.

The move comes in response to a substantial increase in clientele, with 75,000 new business customers acquired in the 12 months since August 2024.

The retailer aims to capitalise on the market opportunity presented by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.

Currys Business has added three new local business hubs in Stevenage, Solihull and Exeter in July 2024, increasing its total to 57 locations with plans for three more this year.

These hubs, situated within Currys stores, provide SMEs with personalised consultations, exclusive business pricing, 30-day payment terms and business-relevant services such as onsite IT installation.

The expansion reflects Currys’ understanding that SMEs prefer face-to-face service, setting it apart from online B2B platforms such as Amazon Business.
