
Uber Technologies has partnered with North American retailer Dollar Tree to offer same-day delivery convenience for customers across the US.
The partnership will bring around 9,000 of the retailer’s locations onto the Uber Eats platform.

According to Uber, the initiative represents a significant step in its push into retail delivery services in suburban and rural regions in the US.
Uber North America grocery and retail head Hashim Amin said: “Whether it’s last-minute gift wrap, a birthday balloon, classroom supplies, or your go-to snacks, Dollar Tree delivers real value and convenience.”
This collaboration enables customers to order everyday items, snacks, and various supplies from Dollar Tree directly through the app.
After placing the order, customers will have the option to track the delivery in real-time until it arrives.

This announcement follows a recent partnership between Uber and Dollar General that added over 14,000 Dollar General and pOpshelf stores to the Uber Eats service.
Dollar Tree employs approximately 150,000 people and manages 18 distribution centres across 48 states in the US and five Canadian provinces under its Dollar Tree and Dollar Tree Canada brands.
Last month, Dollar Tree completed the sale of its Family Dollar division to Brigade Capital Management and Macellum Capital Management.
The retailer reported a net sales increase of 11.3% reaching $4.6bn for the first quarter of 2025.
During the quarter, comparable store sales rose by 5.4%, which the retailer attributed to a 2.5% uptick in customer traffic and a 2.8% rise in average transaction value.
Dollar Tree is scheduled to release its financial results for Q2 2025 next month.
