Kurt Geiger, a UK-based footwear and accessories retailer, has launched the NewStore Omnichannel POS system in more than 70 stores, outlets and airport locations across the UK and the US.
The rollout replaces three legacy in-store systems with a modern, mobile solution, streamlining operations and enhancing customer experiences.
The NewStore unified commerce platform is also live for the Carvela brand.
The system empowers store associates with iPhones or iPads to process transactions and offer seamless omnichannel services.
Services include endless aisle, ship-to-store services and options for customers to buy online and pick up or return in-store.
The implementation marks a strategic move for Kurt Geiger, particularly in expanding its US presence.

By GlobalDataHaving entered the American market solely as an e-commerce entity in 2023, the brand has since established multiple physical stores, all of which used the NewStore system from the outset.
NewStore CEO Michael DeSimone stated: “With multiple brands and store formats across two regions, Kurt Geiger’s rollout is a great example of how the NewStore platform makes it simple for retailers to scale their business globally while maintaining a consistent brand experience.
“By consolidating systems and standardising operations, they now have the agility to grow faster, adapt quicker and serve customers more consistently no matter where they shop.”
Kurt Geiger plans to further extend the NewStore platform to its two concession stores within the Harrods and Selfridges department stores in London. This next phase will continue to elevate the brand’s retail capabilities.
AbsoluteLabs, a certified systems integrator for NewStore, facilitated the implementation process and developed custom integrations to meet the specific requirements of each brand and store format, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal functionality.
AbsoluteLabs enterprise architecture director Simon Suarez stated: “This was a transformative project, and it was only possible because of the strong partnership between Kurt Geiger, NewStore and our team.
“We’re excited to see how this foundation continues to support the brand’s next growth phase.”
In February 2025, US footwear, accessories and apparel retailer Steve Madden agreed to acquire Kurt Geiger from a group led by international private equity firm Cinven.
