Supermarket and hypermarket chain Carrefour has introduced a new express one-hour delivery service in Paris and Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.
The €4.90 delivery service enables customers to select from 2,000 everyday products, including fresh produce and household items, and have delivered them within the hour.
Customers can also choose a 30min delivery slot, enabling Carrefour to supply specific information about shopping delivery times.
The new delivery service does not require a minimum purchase amount or subscription, and customers can also track the progress of their order using the firm's Express delivery app.
Deliveries will be fulfilled by French-based start-up Stuart.
Introducing home delivery services in 1994, Carrefour has been trialling its express delivery service in Paris since October.
