Amishi Consumer Technologies Private has closed a series A funding round to raise Rs65m ($1m).

Trading as The Moms Co, this natural pregnancy and baby care products manufacturer intends to use raised funds to add more products to its portfolio, expand its offline presence, and invest in technology.

The funding round was co-led by DSG Consumer Partners and Saama Capital India Advisors.

Raise Marketplace has closed a series C funding round to raise $60m, which is intended to be used to accelerate the development of a closed mobile loop payments network.

Led by Accel Partners Management, the funding round saw the participation of Bessemer Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), and PayPal Holdings.

JD.com has reached an agreement to form two joint ventures (JV) to support its e-commerce and fintech services consecutively. 

Joining with Central Group, the two JVs will be set up in Thailand. They will involve an investment of $250m by Central Group and $250 by JD.com, JD Finance, and Provident Capital.

Based in China, JD.com is a retailer, while Central Group is a retail conglomerate.
