Home furnishings specialty retailer Pottery Barn is set to open a new store in the Flatiron District of New York City.

The upcoming store is located on West 20th Street, 5th Avenue. It is said to represent New York’s Beaux-Arts movement, featuring columns and ceiling accents.

Pottery Barn president Marta Benson said: “The new store concept is designed to enhance the customer experience to create an inviting, relaxed environment that makes the process of decorating your home effortless and fun.

“We’re excited to invite customers to discover new collections, inspiring decorating ideas, and talented design experts in our newly designed store.”

The store is expected to comprise exclusive products and services including the Design Crew service.

"In-home installation services offered include room painting, drape installation, and gallery wall hanging."

In addition, the shop will showcase new Pottery Barn design initiative 'The Package Deal – Home in a Box', which allows customers to choose from a curated menu of furniture pieces. Curated assortment available at the store includes apartment-ready, multi-functional furniture, in addition to a complete range of Pottery Barn’s design aesthetics.

The company will offer a same-day pick up or delivery service for some of the products. In-home installation services offered include room painting, drape installation, and gallery wall hanging.
