US-based membership warehouse club Sam’s Club is set to open its outlet at Springdale, Arkansas on 25 May.
The new club is situated just off the I-49 in Springdale near the Arvest Ballpark and the future Arkansas Children’s Northwest.

Springdale mayor Doug Sprouse said: “Our residents have been eagerly anticipating the return of Sam’s Club, and this new location will not only benefit Springdale families, but will also spur future development in our overlay district.”
The Springdale outlet includes a number of features from the Bentonville club remodel.
The club will have an expanded seafood section, and stock organic and grass-fed beef, as well as fresh sushi made daily.
The dairy and produce departments will feature walk-in coolers designed to keep products fresh.

By GlobalDataIt will have a café with self-order kiosks, expanded seating with charging stations, and a menu that will include premium coffee, made-to-order sandwiches and smoothies.
The new club will provide pharmacy services, and a hearing centre and optical department.
Members of the Springdale club can use the company’s Scan & Go smartphone app, which gives users the option to scan their items while they shop and then pay through their phone.
This outlet will also offer the drive-thru convenience of Club Pickup, which is a concierge service for members preferring to place an online order and then collecting the merchandise at a scheduled time.
Sam’s Club membership fees range from $45 to $100.
A unit of Wal-Mart Stores, Sam’s Club has 662 clubs in the US and Puerto Rico.
