Indian luxury lifestyle brand Stanley Lifestyles has named Abhijeet Sonar as CEO of Stanley Retail, the company’s dedicated retail business.
Sonar steps into the role with more than 27 years of experience in the luxury, hospitality, aviation, automotive and lifestyle segments.

He stated: “Thrilled to announce that last month I took on the position of chief executive officer at Stanley Retail. Stepping into this role is both an honour and a responsibility.
“It marks the beginning of a mission to accelerate the growth of one of India’s most respected luxury brands and shape it into a world-class luxury house with global standards and ambition.”
Over his career, he has held senior posts at Hansgrohe Group, Villeroy & Boch and Audi Mumbai.
At Hansgrohe Group (India & SAARC [the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation]), he was responsible for driving growth for the Axor brand and consolidating the group’s position in those markets.

By GlobalDataDuring his time at Villeroy & Boch, he led a restructuring that returned several regions to profitability, supported the recovery of retail operations and oversaw the expansion to 27 high-end showrooms.
Previously he worked at Audi Mumbai on initiatives related to market entry and performance improvement.
His previous roles also include positions with Intercontinental, THANKS and Jet Airways.
Stanley Lifestyles stated that the leadership change aligns with Stanley Retail’s plans to reinforce its management framework as it pursues wider brand offerings and a broader retail footprint within the group structure.
