The UK government has introduced new laws requiring online marketplaces to meet the same strict product safety standards as traditional retailers.
The proceedings against the retailer formally began on 31 October 2024.
Online retail sales, continuing a three-month trend of growth, saw a slight increase in July.
Retailers across the UK have voiced strong support for a proposed legal change that would outlaw “upward-only” rent clauses in future commercial leases.
The new deal is set to enhance benefits for 25,000 grocery workers.
