Finnish retail group Kesko has partnered Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the modernisation of its IT landscape throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions.

The strategic collaboration aims to help expand the group's operations, introduce advanced digital services and support growth. 

TCS is set to implement SAP S4 Transformation and provide digital development, application management services and intelligent automation for the Finnish retail group. 

The multi-year partnership enable Kesko to harness the power of AI and intelligent automation, enhancing quality and lowering costs throughout its operations in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland and Sweden.

The services will be provided through a cohesive operations model, leveraging TCS ignio AIOps and the TCS RiO (Rigour in Operations) framework.

TCS' ignio AIOps is designed based on an agentic software-as-a-service (SaaS) architecture, enabling it to address IT challenges in multi-cloud and hybrid environments. 

This approach will facilitate observability across the entire stack and enable large-scale predictive and proactive incident management.

In June 2025, Danish retailer Salling Group partnered IT services provider TCS for a long-term strategic collaboration.
