International fashion retailer Primark is set to launch its inaugural store in the US state of Tennessee, located in the Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis, on 24 July 2025.

The 35,600ft² store stocks fashion items, essentials, homeware and beauty products.

Associated British Foods’ retail division Primark's website enables customers to browse products and check local store availability.

Primark US president Kevin Tulip stated: “As we grow our footprint across the Southern US, we're thrilled to open our doors at Wolfchase Galleria and introduce Memphis shoppers to the incredible value and style that has made Primark a go-to destination for families and fashion lovers around the world."

Primark's talent acquisition team is hiring for full and part-time positions.

Mempis is the brand's 31st outlet across the US, extending its presence to 13 states. Its 30th store opened at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, Virginia in April 2025.

A second Tennessee store is to open at CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin.

In March, the retailer confirmed three new store leases in South Carolina, Texas, and Georgia.

In May, Primark confirmed its plans to open its first store in the Middle East, in partnership with international retail franchise operator Alshaya Group.

In interim results for the 24-week period ending 1 March 2025, Associated British Foods reported that Primark experienced robust growth in Europe and the US, despite a more cautious consumer environment in the UK.

Associated British Foods is aiming for low-single digit sales growth for Primark over the full year.

The anticipated growth is expected to be fuelled by the expansion of stores in key European and US markets, which should contribute 4% to the overall sales growth of Primark. However, this is projected to be partially offset by softer sales in the UK and Ireland.
