The Hebron Mall Extension, the second phase of the Hebron Mall in Hebron, South Africa, was aimed at addressing the growing demand for formal retail options in the Soshanguve and Ga-Rankuwa areas.

The project was developed by Twin City Development in partnership with co-investor Moolman Group, a South African property development company.

The expansion builds on the success of the first phase that opened in October 2022. It was officially launched in March 2024.

The new phase generated more than 200 jobs to support the increased need for in-store staff.

Location

Located 30km northwest of Pretoria’s central business district, Hebron Mall sits at the boundary between Gauteng and the North-West Province.

It is easily accessible via the R80 (Mabopane Highway) to the east and the M20 through Ga-Rankuwa to the west, positioned in a rapidly growing residential area.

The mall’s appeal is enhanced by its proximity to various shopping centres, including Ga-Rankuwa SC, Thorntree Plaza, Soshanguve Crossing, Halala Centre, Kopanong Shopping Centre, Soshanguve Plaza, Central City Shopping Centre, Pick n Pay Centre, Morula Shopping Centre, and Mabopane Sun Plaza, among others.
