US luxury home furnishings retailer Perigold has opened its first bricks-and-mortar store in Houston, Texas, extending its offerings beyond online.

The nearly 20,000ft² flagship store is located in Highland Village, the city’s premier shopping district. It offers more than 150 luxury home brands such as Visual Comfort and Century Furniture.

The opening is part of the brand’s broader retail rollout. Perigold plans to open a second location in West Palm Beach, Florida, in the second half of 2025.

Houston was strategically chosen for Perigold’s first physical store due to its design scene and existing customer base. The city’s architectural diversity aligns with Perigold’s varied product range.

Perigold global head Rebecca Ginns stated: “This is a market where design is celebrated and our customers are deeply engaged. We’re excited to create a space that reflects our commitment to excellence in both product and experience.”

Visitors to the store can explore designer-curated vignettes by Marie Flanigan and others, experience full-service support from in-house designers and dedicated areas for professional collaboration, with most items available for local delivery within one week.
