US furniture and mattress retailer Gardner White has announced plans to open four new stores in the US state of Michigan.

The new locations in Cadillac, Gaylord, Midland and Mount Pleasant will increase the company’s store count to 18 across the state.

The new stores, scheduled to open on 1 July 2025, will offer a wide range of affordable furniture, mattresses and home décor items.

Gardner White CEO Rachel Stewart stated: “For over a century, our mission has been to bring comfort, style and value to homes of our neighbours.

“This expansion allows us to serve more customers statewide, deepen our ties with local communities and reaffirm our commitment as Michigan’s trusted leader in the furniture and mattress industry.”

In early June 2025, Gardner White launched the new retail concept GW HOME in Downtown Detroit.
