German online fashion retailer Zalando has secured an exclusive last-mile delivery deal with post and logistics company Omniva for its orders in the Baltic states: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Omniva will leverage its network of parcel machines and courier services to manage all orders in the region.
Omniva Estonia and EU (European Union) sales head Kristo Kõivumägi stated: “The partnership is the result of nearly five years of determined effort and relationship-building. We’ve proven that Omniva is the right partner for the Baltics.
“This is a major vote of confidence and a key step forward in our journey of internationalisation.
The partnership will solidify Omniva’s market presence in the Baltic region, enhance the company’s international brand visibility and serve as a testing ground for innovative technologies and service improvements.
Zalando market development and strategy lead Mariliis Karu stated that the partnership enhances delivery efficiency, introducing Saturday deliveries across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
