US-based family-owned retailer Rural King has launched its first outlet in the US state of Maryland, in the city of Cumberland.
The new store is located at 1262 Vocke Road, featuring both mobile and self-checkout facilities.

Rural King, also known as RK Holdings, stated that the updates aim to improve the shopping process while maintaining its “personal touch.”
Brands available at the Cumberland site include Carhartt, Blackstone, Ariat, Wrangler and Black Rifle Coffee Company.
The brand’s product categories include livestock, pet and bird supplies and power equipment, and its seasonal ranges include heating and cooling, outdoor patio décor, pools, toys and home décor.
Rural King CEO Steve Barbarick saated: “Cumberland is the perfect location for Rural King’s first store in Maryland.

Rural King was founded in Mattoon, Illinois, in 1960.
The company operates more than 140 stores across 17 states, including Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and West Virginia.
