US retail giant Walmart has unveiled a broad set of executive changes spanning its US operations, international business and Sam’s Club division.
All appointments are scheduled to take effect on 1 February 2026.

The retailer’s board of directors confirmed new members to Walmart’s executive council as incoming president and CEO John Furner detailed organisational adjustments designed to support the company’s next stage of transformation.
Commenting on the overhaul, Furner said: “Over my 32 years with Walmart, I’ve seen that our people are our greatest competitive advantage. These internal promotions reflect our culture of opportunity and the depth of our leadership bench. These leadership changes also mark a key step in how we organise for the future. Even the best teams need the right structure to win.”
Walmart US’s current executive vice president (EVP) and chief growth officer Seth Dallaire will move into the role of EVP and chief growth officer for Walmart.
In this expanded remit, he will oversee global enterprise platforms including Walmart Connect, Walmart+, Walmart Data Ventures, Vizio, Sam’s Club MAP and a worldwide Marketplace platform.

Chris Nicholas, president and CEO of Sam’s Club US, will replace Kath McLay as president and CEO of Walmart International.
Nicholas has served in several senior roles across the company, including chief operating officer for Walmart US, CFO for Walmart US and CFO for Walmart International, and has lived and worked in more than ten countries.
Latriece Watkins, EVP and chief merchandising officer for Walmart US, has been appointed president and CEO of Sam’s Club US.
Watkins began her career at Walmart as an intern in 1997 and has since held leadership positions across Sam’s Club, Walmart US merchandising, people and US store operations.
Walmart said the appointments align with its “People Led, Tech Powered” operating approach and are intended to strengthen leadership across digital, data, operations and membership-driven retail.
