Gucci owner Kering has introduced a new organisational structure with the creation of two group centres of excellence.
The newly formed industry and client divisions sit within the group platform, providing a unified structure and shared resources across the houses, which include Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Balenciaga, among others.

The industry division combines purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and research and development.
It is responsible for enhancing structure and efficiency across production activities.
The client division will deliver shared capabilities to implement the group’s client strategy in collaboration with the houses.
Its remit includes product and pricing, marketing, distribution channels, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and data management.

By GlobalDataStéphane Noël has been appointed chief industrial officer, effective 1 April 2026. He will join the executive committee and report directly to group CEO Luca de Meo.
Noël brings 30 years of international manufacturing experience and will lead the structuring of the group’s industrial organisation.
Carlo Mocci will join as chief client officer from 4 May 2026.
He will join the executive committee, reporting to Luca de Meo and has previously held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, Amazon Europe and Deliveroo.
Reporting to Mocci, Fedele Usai has been appointed chief marketing officer with immediate effect.
He will oversee the group’s marketing strategy and support the houses in branding, media, customer relationship management and experiential activities.
Appointed chief commercial officer in January 2026, Daniele Zito is responsible for defining the group’s commercial strategy across retail, including e-commerce, and wholesale distribution networks.
