The Canadian activewear brand entered India last year through an exclusive partnership with the e-commerce company.
According to the report, the move is part of Tata CLiQ’s wider plan to build its sportswear and athleisure business.
The company recently brought Nike onto its platform and expects the brand to become a major contributor to its sportswear business over the next year.
On the category, Asthana said: “We are very gung-ho on sportswear and athleisure.”
The executive also commented that beauty was the company’s fastest-growing category in the previous fiscal year, with growth of 40-50%.
The report added that Tata CLiQ is also growing its wellness business through Tata 1mg, covering protein supplements, vitamins, nutritional products, fitness equipment and wellness essentials.
The company has also recently added Lush across its platforms and launched luxury skincare brand La Prairie on Tata CLiQ Luxury.
Tata CLiQ exited electronics in 2023 as it shifted its focus to fashion and lifestyle, and is positioning itself across beauty, fashion, footwear, home and wellness.
Separately, Lululemon is expanding internationally. Earlier this month, the company launched in Romania through a franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group, its fourth new market entry in 2026.
The launch gives the brand its first physical presence in Romania and brings its athletic and lifestyle range to shoppers there.
