Under the arrangement, the company will adopt Anchanto’s cloud-based OMS to connect its warehouse operations, retail outlets and online platforms within a single system, providing “real-time” visibility.
Cellboy CEO Alvin Teng said: “One of our biggest challenges was the lack of real-time visibility. Transaction data was only updated after processing, making it hard to get an accurate view of inventory and act quickly. Anchanto changed that, giving us real-time visibility, faster reporting, and far less manual reconciliation work.”
The retailer already uses a warehouse management system for internal hub operations but had faced difficulties in obtaining real-time visibility across its physical stores.
Store-level tracking had previously depended on manual processes, affecting financial and inventory reporting.
The OMS deployment is intended to automate transactions from the point of purchase to final delivery, with data updated instantly to connect warehouse and storefront operations.
According to the statement, the integration will provide “accurate, real-time inventory data” while “reducing manual data entry and reconciliation” across Cellboy’s different channels.
Anchanto is a B2B software-as-a-service company that provides omnichannel commerce and supply chain capabilities to logistics service providers, brands and retailers.
It operates through local teams in the Philippines and 11 other countries spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe, with a platform that integrates with more than 200 logistics providers, marketplaces and commerce systems.
Anchanto CEO Vaibhav Dabhade added: “Cellboy is a well-established name in the Philippine retail space, and we are proud to support their next phase of growth. Together, we look forward to helping Cellboy strengthen its omnichannel capabilities and deliver world-class retail execution to its customers.”
