Over the course of fiscal 2026, the US discount department store chain added a total of 115 locations.

These follow an earlier announcement in July detailing 47 openings across 15 states and territories during June and July, which consisted of 35 Ross Dress for Less shops and 12 dd’s DISCOUNTS branches.

Ross Stores property development executive vice president Richard Lietz said: “We remain confident in the long-term opportunities for both brands. As customers increasingly seek great brands at great prices, Ross’ off-price offering continues to resonate, and we believe we are well positioned to grow to at least 2,900 Ross Dress for Less and 700 dd’s DISCOUNTS locations over time.”

Across both retail banners, the Dublin, California-headquartered business runs around 2,377 sites throughout 45 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

Ross Dress for Less accounts for 1,993 branches, whilst dd’s DISCOUNTS operates 384 locations spread over 24 states.
