UK luxury lifestyle brand Mulberry reported an 18% increase in group sales during the first half (H1) of FY2027, which it attributed to full-price sales, product demand, and international growth.

In its trading update for the half year ended 26 September 2026, the company said like-for-like sales rose 9% in the UK, 34% in the US, 21% in Europe excluding the UK, and 24% in Asia Pacific. Franchise and wholesale sales rose 52%.

The group said demand for its seasonal and core collections, including Raffia, Crochet, Stevie, and Darley Camera Bag products, contributed to growth.

Demand also continued for the Bayswater and Lily ranges, while Mulberry cited increased brand visibility.

Mulberry said it maintained a “disciplined” trading approach and restricted discounting during the period.

Excluding markdown activity, promotional sales represented a proportion of sales 300 basis points lower than in the previous-year period, supporting gross margin performance.

In the US, performance was supported by higher customer demand, digital sales growth, the launch of Bloomingdale’s Marketplace, and a wider wholesale presence.

The company also reported strong growth in its European business.

Wholesale and third-party channels represented 17% of total sales, compared with 16% in H1 FY2026.

Mulberry entered H2 following the launch of Delilah, Oxblood, and Vintage Oak colourways.

The group said it continues to target annual revenue of more than £200m ($266.7m) and an adjusted EBIT margin of 15% over the medium term.

Mulberry CEO Andrea Baldo said: “The strength of our performance reflects the work undertaken over the past year to refocus the Group around product, brand and customer, while maintaining a disciplined approach to trading and cost management.”

The company is scheduled to publish its H1 results on 19 November 2026.

In its latest annual results, Mulberry reported FY2026 group revenue of £125.5m, up 4% from £120.4m a year earlier.
