In Virginia, the company will open a store at The Tech Center at Oyster Point on Jefferson Avenue on 3 September. The Illinois store will also open on the same date at McHenry.
Both the DSW stores will stock designer label footwear and accessories for men and women at exclusive price offerings.

The Virginia and the Illinois DSW stores will stock 21,000 pairs of men’s and women’s footwear in a 18,000ft2 space.
The latest fall trends including a large collection of boots, booties, retro-style sneakers, comfort styles, pumps and heels will be available for women to choose from.
Men will be able to pick from a variety of brands offering casual and chukka boots, dress shoes, running shoes, and sneakers.
The new store will also stock handbags and other accessories such as wraps, ponchos, and fashion socks for customers to accentuate their look.

These two store openings were preceded by two other stores of DSW at Oswego in Illinois and Waco in Texas.
As on August 27, DSW operates 453 stores in 42 states in the US and operates an e-commerce site, a mobile site and an interactive mobile app as well. The company also supplies footwear to around 374 locations in the US.
