The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.66% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

Out of the retail industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.31% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.2% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 59.29% in June 2022, registering a 21.82% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 25.66% share, a decrease of 9.38% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.85%, registering a flat growth from May 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 4.42%, up 25% over the previous month.

Top five retail companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 11.54% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s retail industry during June 2022 over May 2022.

Veepee posted 40 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 42.86% over the previous month, followed by Carrefour with 16 jobs and a 5.88% drop. Amazon with 15 IT jobs and Inter IKEA Holding with 9 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 12.5% growth, respectively, while Colibri- ManoMano recorded a decline of 30% with 7 job postings during June 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.68%, up by 6.58% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.93% share, registered an increase of 80% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.39% share, down 36.36% over May 2022.
