The value marked a decrease of 64.6% over the previous month of $1.47bn and a drop of 50.4% when compared with the last 12-month average of $1.05bn.

North America held a 40.06% share of the global consumer industry venture financing deal value that totalled $1.3bn in March 2022. With a 39.74% share and deals worth $516.65m, the US was the top country in North America’s venture financing deal value across consumer industry.

In terms of venture financing deal activity, North America recorded 57 deals during March 2022, marking a decrease of 25.97% over the previous month and a drop of 20.83% over the 12-month average. The US recorded 56 deals during the month.
