Japan-based company Panasonic’s IT hiring rose 5.9% in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 13.3% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 31.85% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 1.07% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Panasonic IT hiring in November 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Panasonic, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.16% in November 2021, and a 1.23% rise over October 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 22.7% in November 2021, and registered growth of 60%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 10.64% in November 2021, a 48.28% drop from October 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Panasonic

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 46.1% share, which marked a 27.45% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 41.13%, registering a 10.77% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 12.77% share and a 21.74% drop over October 2021.

Spain commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 44.68% share in November 2021, a 34.04% growth over October 2021. India featured next with a 41.13% share, down 9.38% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 6.38% share, a decline of 40% compared with October 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Panasonic IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.89%, up by 30.49% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.7% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 1.42% share, down 77.78% over October 2021.
