Aldi is on the hunt for both temporary and permanent employees to fill various positions in its stores during the busy Christmas period.

This recruitment drive is aimed at ensuring customers have the best possible shopping experience and that store shelves remain fully stocked.

The roles on offer encompass a wide spectrum of opportunities, including store assistants, managerial positions and cleaners. These positions are vital in maintaining the smooth operation of Aldi stores during the holiday season.

Beyond the stores: regional distribution centres

But the recruitment frenzy doesn’t stop at the store level. Aldi is also expanding its workforce in its Regional Distribution Centres, with approximately 1,500 roles up for grabs.

These roles include warehouse selectors, logistics assistants and warehouse cleaners. The move is in line with Aldi’s commitment to expanding its presence across the UK to meet the growing demand from customers.

Aldi is offering competitive starting pay rates for its Store Assistants, with an industry-leading £11.40 ($13.88) per hour nationally and an even higher rate of £12.85 per hour for those working within the M25.
