
Asda’s partnership with Blue Light Card will officially come to an end on 27 May 2025, marking the conclusion of a scheme that has provided exclusive in-store benefits to emergency services workers, NHS staff, and other key workers.
From 11:00 on 13 May 2025, new links between Blue Light Card memberships and Asda Rewards accounts will no longer be accepted.
Existing users who have already connected their accounts will retain access to the benefit until the partnership terminates later this month.
Final opportunity for blue light card users to earn rewards
Customers who have successfully linked their Blue Light Card to the Asda Rewards app before the 13 May cut-off will continue to receive 5% back in their Asda Rewards Cashpot on eligible fresh product purchases until 23:59 on 27 May 2025.
These rewards are valid only in selected Asda stores and can be spent in-store or online, excluding George.com.
Eligible items include fresh meat and fish, fruit and vegetables, dairy products, bakery items, and fresh juices and smoothies. However, several categories are excluded from the offer, such as Just Essentials products, alcohol, frozen and ready meals, beauty and baby items, household goods, clothing, fuel, and tobacco.
