Supermarket chain Carrefour France has selected AI-enabled decision platform Symphony RetailAI to implement its warehouse replenishment, inventory flow optimisation and supply chain insights solutions.
Symphony RetailAI solutions will help Carrefour optimise inventory levels and enhance service rates across its omnichannel and multi-format business.
Carrefour will use the warehouse replenishment solution to optimise inventory levels across its 90 warehouses. The warehouses serve both the company’s retail outlets, including hypermarkets, supermarkets and other retail locations across France, as well as its e-commerce activities.
Leveraging inventory flow optimisation to model and simulate the flow of goods, the supermarket chain will enhance transport, logistics, inventory management, distribution to maximise end-to-end profitability.
The retailer will strengthen its supply chain with operational BI functionalities and dashboards, offering a full visibility on service rates, merchandise flows and inventory levels.

The current partnership is part of the group’s on-going strategic collaboration with Symphony RetailAI.
Prior to this partnership, Carrefour Brazil signed a deal with the technology platform to optimise inventory levels across its warehouses and stores.
