British online car retailer Cazoo is continuing its expansion in mainland Europe by launching its services in Spain.
Founded in 2018, the retailer has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses, selling more than 65,000 cars online in the UK.
All cars sold by Cazoo in Spain will come with a full seven-day money-back guarantee and 12-month warranty.
The expansion comes a few months after Cazoo acquired Spanish consumer car subscription marketplace Swipcar for €30m ($31.18m).
The retailer looks to sponsor Spanish football teams Valencia and Real Sociedad from next season.
The launch in Spain is part of Cazoo’s continental expansion strategy, under which it launched its marketplace in Germany and France last December.
Earlier this month, the company agreed to acquire Italian digital car retailer and subscription platform brumbrum for €80m ($83.2m). It plans to enter the Italian market later this year.
Cazoo founder CEO Alex Chesterman said: “We are very excited to launch in Spain following our recent launches in both France and Germany at the end of last year.
“We have reimagined car buying to make it simple and convenient while giving consumers total peace of mind when buying their next car.
“With Cazoo, you can purchase a used car entirely online, have it delivered to your door in a few days and have up to a week to make sure you love it.
“We have a great team in Spain and look forward to delivering the best car buying experience to consumers across the Spanish market.”
Cazoo allows customers to purchase cars entirely online after reviewing high quality, 360-degree images before having them delivered.
Last October, Cazoo agreed to buy UK-based online commercial vehicle retailer Vans365 as part of efforts to expand its online product offerings.
